The K-SECRET SEOUL 1988 Serum: Retinal Liposome 2% + Black Ginseng combines time-tested medicinal plants with modern active ingredient technology for targeted, deep-acting care. The powerful formula combines 2% liposomal encapsulated retinal – a highly effective vitamin A derivative – with 58% fermented black ginseng extract to visibly regenerate and strengthen the skin.

Retinal supports cell renewal and helps to reduce fine lines, unevenness, and loss of elasticity, while fermented black ginseng, with its antioxidant properties, revitalizes and balances tired skin. Thanks to liposomal encapsulation, the retinal is delivered to the skin particularly gently and effectively, making it suitable even for sensitive skin.

Supplemented with niacinamide, bakuchiol, vitamin C and soothing peptides, the skin is smoothed, firmed and visibly more radiant.

Main active ingredients & effects:

Retinal (2%, liposomal encapsulated) – promotes cell renewal, stimulates collagen production and visibly reduces fine lines and wrinkles.

Black ginseng extract (58%) – rich in antioxidants, protects against free radicals, improves skin elasticity and revitalizes tired skin.

Bakuchiol – a plant-based alternative to retinol, supports skin renewal with lower irritation potential and is ideal for sensitive skin.

Niacinamide – evens out skin tone, regulates sebum production and strengthens the skin barrier.

Vitamin C – acts as an antioxidant, brightens the complexion and protects the skin from oxidative stress.

Peptides support skin regeneration and improve skin structure.

Suitable for all skin types.

In the evening, after cleansing, apply a pea-sized amount of the serum evenly to dry skin, covering your face and neck. Gently pat it into the skin until fully absorbed. Finish with a lotion or face cream to seal in the serum.


Apply 2-3 times per week initially and gradually increase the frequency depending on skin tolerance. Always use sunscreen with at least SPF 30 during the day.
